Hacking cfg loader config when installed as channel

hi guys

i'm struggling with the configurable usb loader. i have removed gx loader and thought i would try the cfg loader.

my gx loader was installed as a channel on my wii and i've done the same with cfg loader.

i want to make the loader start in the 3d animated window but reading the tut's it says change things in the meta. i dont appear to have a mta as i installed the loader from a channel wad from the tut page.

have i installed the loader ok, and can i configure the loader even though its installed as a channel rather than a forwarder?

advice would be great. sorry if this is really simple stuff
