Okay, so I am VERY new to the PSP scene. Literally just modded my first ever one yesterday: a 1001 I bought off a friend. My main goal is to play both PSP ISO’s and PSX eBoots, and I’ve done both pretty well so far, converting my PSX BIN files using PSX2PSP.

I was afraid of trying to do this with games that use CDDA audio, as I’ve had issues with them using past PSX emulators on PC and such, and sure enough, games like Tomb Raider have no sound.

So then, I thought maybe if I found a PSX2PSP eboot file online, that it would work, since I didn’t convert it myself. Sadly, still no in game music.

So what is my simplest option to get them running like they should be? All my PSX ISOs are in BIN/CUE format on my PC.
I’ve tried googling the issue, but I’m seeing tons of different solutions and don’t know which one to pick or which would be best for my model.

1: Make sure to be feeding psx2psp a single-file .bin or .ccd (you can join split-track cue+bin, etc by loading them in isobuster then exporting the whole disc by right clicking it in the left part? haven't done it in years)

2: make sure you are on 6.6x, with the cdda_enabler plugin downloaded and added to pops.txt
OR to be using an ancient version of pops (through popstarter), if supported by your console and required by that game due to other issues

Where can I find the CDDA enabler?

Okay, so I put the plugin into the plugins folder on my memory stick, but I don’t have a POPS.txt file to alter the end of. Did I do something wrong?
Just create it? lol
If you put the plugin in /seplugins/cdda_enabler.prx, type into the file:
Code:
ms0:/seplugins/cdda_enabler.prx 1
