PS1/2 CD qualtiy

OK 1st before I ask my question I have to ask if there is a list that tells you which DVD-R to use for Ps2 back ups so I dont have to keep asking the question im about to ask everytime i forget.....ok now the question is are TDK and Maxwells ok disc for Ps2 backups

Personally I have never tried any dvd+r for backups except dvd-r only. Tried Maxwells before had a few hiccup with the burning (might of been my dvd burner) but those two should work well as backups.

the newer PS2's can read both DVD+R and -R
the older PS2's can only DVD-R

I have a v10 50001
one of the last phat production models before the slim and it works with DVD+R's


anyway as for brand, I use verbatium, and sony DVD+R's

the one you have should work fine though

Maxell DVD+R are fine, that's what I used for my last 5 games. Just make sure you're not burning at 2.4X because it didn't work that way. I do it at 8X and it works fine.
