I love Castlevania, I hope the feature of being able to swing from your whip will be in this game.
Honestly though my favorite version of Castlevania was the least Castlevania-like version.. Castlevania II Simon's Quest! (The only one that was quest like rather than just hack/slash-like).
I have some coding skills, but I doubt I'm skilled enough to program an entire game by myself. I mostly write small custom apps.
Wish I could help you more, and hope you find a good coder.

I watched the trailer, and I have a suggestion for the developer (and making sprite for the designer): let the player hit vertically ;)
But maybe it was a decision to not allow this?

I hope you'll find a new developer to complete this game :)

I agree with that. Fun game, but I can't hit straight up, and hit down under me while jumping, like I could in the SNES version of Super Castlevania.. (also Super Castlevania would let you dangle your whip and swing it around, and use it to swing from things, and that made that game super fun!! So I hope to one day see those features added to this great demo.

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
