Case of the Golden Idol releases new DLC today alongside browser-based demo

Playstack has announced that a new DLC will be released today for Case of the Golden Idol, last year's acclaimed detective period piece. "Golden Idol Mysteries: The Lemurian Vampire" is out today on Steam and Nintendo Switch for $5.99 USD, and gives players access to three new cases that will help connect the previous DLC to the main story.

Alongside the new DLC, Playstack has also made the first three (of twelve) levels from the base game available as a free in-browser demo. I had a chance to play it back in May when the first expansion released, and loved it. It's also been receiving high praise from critics and users alike as one of the best puzzle and detective games in recent memory, so if you haven't tried it yet, this demo gives a good overview of the game and a good sense of its mechanics.
