ROM Hack Can't use Bloody Platinum Cheats

I'm using EDGE with the latest firmware. I use to be able to play with cheats, but now whenever i tried to use cheat, my screen goes white and it stuck.
I did search the forum already, and some said that i need to change the ID to play with cheats. how do you change ID?
