Homebrew Can't update Luma3DS

Hi,

I have an OLD3DS in Sysnand 11.5.0-38E with Luma 7.1 and boot9strap.

When i try to update Luma3DS to the 8.1 version, my 3DS don't reboot, i see the blue light temoin for 1 sec and the 3DS shut down.

I have to delete the boot.firm and replace the old one to have my 3DS rebooting... But i'm stuck in 7.1.

What's the problem?
