Hardware Can't turn ON PSP

yeah my psp is not turning on no matter what i do i charge it, it doesn't charge, i take out the battery and put it back on it doesn't work what should i do

and it was working fine this morning
 
It's no problem.
I wish I could suggest something regarding this problem, but I've never even played PSP.

I'd assume it's a blown fuse or dead battery as well, but it could be any number of things, if it's not reacting at all..it means it's pretty much dead. (how clever am I!)

Nope.
The hold and power switch are the same. Hold goes down, power goes up.

So turning the power on/off takes the PSP off hold.
 
Is the green light coming on? If yes, I had the same problem. What I did was I opened the UMD case, the battery case and the memory stick pull out thing and I removed the battery and the UMD and the memory stick and then I kept it upside down for about a day or two and it suddenly worked. This happened to me while I was playing Tekken. I put it on sleep mode and then went away for a while. When I tried to switch it on, nothing happened but when I did what I mentioned above, it worked.
