This isn't even close to being the right section, we have a PSP section

And did you try buying a new battery?

Keep to your topic, we have mods who move them you know?

Thanks Toni for helping the guy out [IMG]
Any who, try going to your local stores or look online for new parts. It sounds like it could either be a blown fuse or the battery shit the bed.

    It's no problem.
I wish I could suggest something regarding this problem, but I've never even played PSP.

I'd assume it's a blown fuse or dead battery as well, but it could be any number of things, if it's not reacting at all..it means it's pretty much dead. (how clever am I!)

Is the battery definitely making contact on the inside?

    Nope.
The hold and power switch are the same. Hold goes down, power goes up.

So turning the power on/off takes the PSP off hold.

Is the green light coming on? If yes, I had the same problem. What I did was I opened the UMD case, the battery case and the memory stick pull out thing and I removed the battery and the UMD and the memory stick and then I kept it upside down for about a day or two and it suddenly worked. This happened to me while I was playing Tekken. I put it on sleep mode and then went away for a while. When I tried to switch it on, nothing happened but when I did what I mentioned above, it worked.
