Hacking Cant touch part of my screen

The left hand side of my bottom screen does not respond to touch input. I can clearly outline the are on piant programs. This has never ffected me before so I never worried about. However, now I can not play zoo tycoon due to blocked off buttons. Does anybody know a way to fix my screen?

I've had the same problem too, the problem was that the touch-sensitive screen thing was moved a bit, after I opened mine up and put it back in place, it worked again (untill my DS fell off the stairs, then I had to buy a new one)
