Can't search on google...time out issues

Well I don't really have a problem whith pretending I am in Spain to go on google...it's just weird it only works like that...

How could I try a tracert in the command prompt?

If you are using Orange/Wanadoo/Sosh as ISP, maybe this is your issue (thanks Costello for the source ;p)

Maybe they still haven't fix it?
You can see in the comments that the redirected page is not always displayed, the government website didn't support the load and went offline.


for non-french users :
the ISP blocked google, wikipedia and OVH access this morning and users were redirected to a page usually displayed by the French government when blocking terrorist propaganda website.
They said it's a human error.


to fix it, you can use a different DNS server instead of the one provided by Wanadoo.
That's really an easy bypass, it's only annoying loyal and legal users.
 
It got fixed in the afternoon...XD I thought my computer had some kind of virus...lol...So it was orange's fault then...(We have a Livebox)...

still, would be a cool idea to change DNS service...
i changed mine to bypass some sites that my isp denies to translate
