Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't this report from Pimp-My-Wii say that his IOS36 v3607 is patched with the Trucha Bug? You should be able to use that to install other WADs fine.

Um.... what's all that meanwhat should i do?

Sorry, my question was to the others helping you out. What it means is that your IOS36 is patched with the Trucha Bug (aka Fakesign) and you should be able to use it in a WAD Manager to install WADs just fine. Just do what Riley posted afterward if you want to install Darkcorp.
QUOTE(Riley @ Sep 24 2010, 01:48 PM)
Run this installer to install cios249 rev 17. Select IOS36 for installation.

Now that you have cios just install all the IOS's in the darkcorp folder. ( im guessing that you cant run the uninstaller for some random reason )

Then follow this guide from top to bottom.

EDIT: Use YAWMM for a wad manager.

But that's the problem, i CANT install ANNY WAD files at all eather in darkcorp (i hawe FULL wersion of darkcorp, they snd it to me via mail) or in wad manager......

You do have an IOS36 with the Trucha Bug patched as per the SysCheck report you posted. Did you change anything after the report was made? If so, post a new report.

If not, you should be able to run this cIOS installer choosing to use IOS36 to install cIOS249. Have you successfully done this? If not, where does it fail? Provide all details. Also make sure you are choosing IOS36 to install cIOS249 when the installer asks what IOS to use.

Lets try this one step at a time now...

Well since you reformatted your Wii but can still use the Banner Bomb exploit, the easiest way for you to bring your Wii back up to snuff and softmodded again is to just use ModMii

today I tried to install a WAD and gave me the 1024 error, so I checked my cIOS and they don't have the sign check disable, except or IOS222, wich I used later to install the WAD, and guess what...??

IT WORKED, so your IOS or cIOS might need to have the trucha bug or sign check dissabled for you to be able to install anything on your Wii (homebrew related)

How did you check that your cIOS don't have the sign check disable?

I'm pretty sure there's an app called SignCheck.

EDIT: For idiots who didn't catch my drift, he probably used that app.

Error 1012 is the bitch of all errors. You can uninstall anything you like, but you will never be able to install anything again, no wads, no hackmii, nothing. You can try anything you like, everything will fail. The only way to fix your issue is with the comix nand formater, which requires bootmii. Notice how all your cios have no trucha, classic erro 1012. Don't uninstall anything else. If you already lost bootmii, your screwed.

If you still have bootmii ios installed, you can bannerbomb bootmii booter to load bootmii, then make a nand backup and run the nand formater. You should follow this guide- Using NAND Formatter to completely Re-install your Wii

The whole problem is that I CAN'T install WAD's at ALL, eather through wad mannager or darkcorp or whatewer.... i cant install annything to my wii it always giwes me error codes like: error! (ret-1012) or (ret-1024) or (ret-4100) those are most usual reeor codes that i ged when i try to install something, but ret-1024 is the most annoying.
it even gives me error code when i try to install HB channel using banner bomb, bannerbomb loads up normally and i press 1 on my wii mote and there are options :

The homebrew channel: Can be installed
BootMii: Can be installed

> Conitinue

I click continue and now i hawe 3 options:

Question: Did you get this error when following the guide or from previous attempts? If you haven't tried following the guide, just give it a try, you'd be no worse off than you are now.

It seems you have some hardcore ticket corruption or something for even the HackMii installer not to work
blink.gif
If I were your, short of using Comex's Nand Formatter, I would try roundabout solutions. Like running BootMii, and using BootMii to install IOS236, and then trying to boot any (trying all) WAD Managers and see if I could install the WADs downloaded by ModMii.

If you want to try something, you can try this- but it wont work.
Extract cboot2.zip to sd:\
Delete sd:\startup.elf
Extract startup.zip to sd:\
Extract bootmii-booter.elf.zip to sd:\
Extract Multi-Mod Manager boot.dol to sd:\
Rename sd:\boot.dol -> load.dol
Extract bannerbomb to sd:\
Copy ios236.wad to sd:\wad
Run bannerbomb -> bootmii booter loads -> cboot2 loads -> MMM loads on ios36-v16
Select wadmanger
Install ios236.wad

Error 1012, shit.
If cboot2 does not load, you probably don't have bootmii ios installed. Be sure to use a standard sd card 1-2g.

Oh fu...
Every case of this error I have seen results in nothing installing. You can uninstall anything, but nothing installs, not even official ios wads or channel wads, regardless of installer or ios used. The only fix has been the nand formater. The cboot2 method I posted has never been tested that I remember, perhaps it was once. Also, AHBPROT has never been tested, but it is not an option in this case.
