Hacking Cant install WAD files, ERROR! (ret = 1012)

but for now my problem is i CAN'T instal WADs how to fix this?

Multi Mod Manager, install and patch IOS36 option, like pretty much every decent softmodding guide will tell you.

i used MMM and it's not working since i can NOT install WADs

you used the option that specifically says "install and patch IOS36"?

Well you have two choices now do what was already told you (install a trucha patched IOS36 with DOP-Mii, MMM) if you select IOS36 then you can install WAD´s or you just install cIOSrev19 with the Installer http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OP5WJAEL and use then the WAD Manager v1.7 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WCGKHQF8 .

However don´t just mess around with IOS files especially with the ones that are needed for the Wii System Menu.

Because no one told me not to and also i read that i can install cioscorp manually or automaticly so i installed manualy, i installed them in wad manager... but the questios is what can i do now about my CURRENT problem? i still cant install WAD files.

I know, my Motherboard was fried so i had to wait for the new one... sorry

I hawe full wersion of DARKCORP installer and i cant instal or uninstall annything... like i said i SOMEHOW CAN'T install WAD files at all... whenewer i try to reinstal darkcorp or uninstall my wii restarts and return to wii menu and when i try to install some wads it giwes me ERROR! Run this installer to install cios249 rev 17. Select IOS36 for installation.

Now that you have cios just install all the IOS's in the darkcorp folder. ( im guessing that you cant run the uninstaller for some random reason )

Then follow this guide from top to bottom.

EDIT: Use YAWMM for a wad manager.

Sorry, my question was to the others helping you out. What it means is that your IOS36 is patched with the Trucha Bug (aka Fakesign) and you should be able to use it in a WAD Manager to install WADs just fine. Just do what Riley posted afterward if you want to install Darkcorp.
