Homebrew cant install twloader

so i wanted to play so ds games on my 3ds i did everything needed to do so "soundhax>homebrew>fbi>twlaoder" but when i try to downlaod twloader-side.cia it says that the downlaod failed and i also cant downlaod the one without the "-side" i also get result code 0xD8E0806A and sat as the desc "cert signature or hash check failed" i also also have twl on homwbrew screen when i load it it says to install twloader-side.cia

Twloader is old and out of date use this it has much higher game compatibility ect https://gbatemp.net/threads/ds-i-3ds-twilight-menu-dsimenu-srloader-ds-i-menu-replacement.472200/

em sure but now ive tried to install mario and luigi paper jam and it did the same thing so maybe my fbi is the problem? just saying the fbi i see doesnt have a theme on the up screen but mine has anime on the top screen

You're gonna have to download a couple of things manually, make sure that you've placed files on your sd card and install a few cias for this to work.

Download the latest TWiLight Menu++ package, place the _nds folder at the sd card root and install the two cia files found in the cia folder, next download the latest TWiLight Menu Launcher and install that cia too. Launch the Launcher, wait a moment or two, set up the preferences and proceed to navigate to your DS roms.

Like i said previously twloader is old and not many games work you need to use twilight menu that i posted a link to above. It has way higher compatability.

But what are you trying to do? 11.8 is the latest firmware

formatting isnt the same as factory resetting, the 3DS doesn't really do anything like that. if that's what your goal to "Fix" DS Mode was @lolypopmaster11 at this stage now its hardmod or NTRBoot (seedminer wont help you since TWL Mode is broken for you. ) there is No free option past 11.3 for CFW, (you were on "Userspace Hax" which just means homebrew only and is quite limited in permissions and system functions they could call, installed CIAs wouldnt really work w/o Sigchecks Disabled, (that which requires Full CFW)

since you had been using Soundhax for Homebrew loading and not as an full CFW entrypoint, you had to of been on no higher than 11.3, and you updated past the point of no return for free anyway. a usable NTRBoot card will average between 15~25 + shipping depending what site you use and what card you get. not to sound harsh but you kinda did F* up. and before you say "i want only homebrew and not CFW, i dont want to get banned. " Dont kid yerself with such a fallacy. by Modifying your system even to use unsigned code in such where things like Soundhax (it alone and other userspace entrypoints) Still puts you at a small risk albeit a likely "Smaller" one than full cfw users are, this isnt like the PS2 Xbox OG, Wii Days. where modified devices could get away with it. there's always a risk with these newer systems (360/PS3/PS4/Xbox One/3DS/Switch) the moment they are modified.. want to have homebrew n Emulators and not worry about banning? get a second system mod the first keep the second "Clean"

this is a horrid practice . . . how can one expect others to take there time to help if you cant even take your time to explain yourself?

When was that said? They said that they were using the FBI Maki Ver (the 11.2 Legit Cia One) and that they only had userland. They were vague and if they formatted their 3DS, then Download Play should be fine as doing that restores system titles.

is teh only clue we do have to potentially broken DS Mode as at one point it did work in TWLoader
