Hacking Cant format emuNAND

Hello,
i wanna play Super smash bros.

Well, i cant format my Emunand to get it to 8.1 or some.

Tryed with 2.2 and 2.3b but if i press format, nothing happens.

Anyone can help?

Try a different big SD, most problems with the 3ds seems to come down to how picky everything is about (micro)SD cards

Wait, your internal SD (non-micro) is 1 GB and the Gateway SD (micro) is 16 GB? Emunand gets formatted on the large SD card in your 3DS, not the micro SD in the gateway card

Emunand takes up a whole 1GB, so that's why it's not working. Make sure you put the launcher.dat on the other SDCard, and also that it's formatted to FAT

Yeah 1gb would not really be usable if you plan to have emunand set up....assuming there was even.enough space to fit emunand and the launcher.dat you would probably not have enough space to store your saves

If you have a 16 GB (normal) SD card lying around i don't see any problem in formatting it to FAT32 (3DS supports FAT32).

Edit: to be clear, format a normal SD card (minimal 4 GB) to FAT32. Place the Launcher.dat on the SD card and boot into gateway mode, choose format Emunand.

Yeah, use 4GB+ SD card formatted to FAT32, copy to it one file: launcher.dat and you're ready to format emunand.

News just reached us about System Firmware 9.0.0-20 being released, and some users have already notified us that 9.0.0-20 emunand is not booting.
