Basically I am making edits that will be interesting to make videos of on youtube. I've made a good edit of a well-known video game character that I should have up within this week hopefully but my first video should also be pretty interesting that I hope to have up in a couple of days.
I seem to have less options on pk3ds though for some reason. Are these the only options for SuMo?
and also when I open a couple of them it gives me an error but I can work around it. also, I'm not sure where to put the dumped files when it doesn't give you an option to save it within pk3ds. I can work around it for now but would be nice to know for the future.
I wish I knew how to take a screenshot of a specific part of the screen like I could on my mac lol then you wouldn't have to see my tab situation

rom hacking is so interesting. I played pokemon sun for the first time last night on citra and omg that little owl pokemon is cute as hell haha and that little one that breaks the bridge. I always thought the newer pokemon sucked but this game is making me like them. the game is also pretty immersive and it's so cool to see the pokemon in full 3d - haven't played a pkmn game properly since the original ruby lol
PK3DS saves things automatically. It edits the garc files it's programmed to "on the fly" more or less. There is no need to "save", the files are overwritten in their proper places. For Red did you import him in a t-pose in line with the characters' model? I have an interesting mod involving an NPC character model coming up soon gonna set my youtube account up/finish my first rom edit tomorrow I think

Not sure about the maps and stuff, I've never tried to edit them. I doubt you can create brand new ones, but you can 100% edit the map textures and stuff like buildings or whatever.That's really cool. So can you even edit the maps and areas etc?

Yes, he was swapped in for Brendens OW model.

Most of the time, (here anyway) you can release the edited files as patches but not the entire game. People have to dump it (or download it) themselves elsewhere and apply your uploaded edits. Other places I can't name, you can upload the rebuilt .CIA or .3DS for people to download directly.Looks so great. you did a great job with it. pokemon red is still the best to this day lol I'll never forget the first time I saw someone playing it at elementary school. someone had it and everyone was crowding around to watch. I was like wow you can catch pokemon and take them around with you and battle with them and stuff on that little calculator thing

hey ok so I have the .lz file that I want to turn into a bin file. how do I do that? seems I forgot to ask about this specific step.
You didn't and I told you, if you get one that ends in .lz, just rename it to .bin instead.
