Usually there's an item labelled 'Account Details' when you click your profile in the top-right corner.

I know, but for some reason, i just can't see the option to edit / save at all. Not even for my signature.

Not even in the "account details" tab.

Try clearing your browser's cache and see if that works. Ad-blockers can also interfer with some elements on the site.

yeah, but i could do it regardless. did not notice this was a thing until now.

Yes, we had to implement this because there were a lot of spambots who signed up, changed their URL and signature to spam and didn't post (so that it helps their search engine stuff yet staying hidden by not posting).
This has led some of the bots to even report themselves and writing the spam there
