Question Can't change my avatar

For some reason, when I upload a new avatar, the picture doesn't change, even though it says new avatar uploaded successfully. I can delete it, and have the default one, but whatever image I try to upload (even a previous avatar I had that was still on my computer), my current avatar comes back. Can anyone help me with this please?

I fixed it by signing up for Gravatar - weird that uploading a file doesn't work though.
