Homebrew Cant boot into homebrew launcher

I'm new to homebrew and only previous experience is homebrewing a dsi, i've follow the guide from 3ds hacks guide and got up to Section II/Section III. I can't do section 2 so i went a head and did section 3, i followed the steps up to 9 then I launched Download Play application and then I get a 3ds loading screen which plays on forever. I've swapped out the boot.3dsx and it didn't work.

please help
