When I received the election notice in the mailbox the first thing I did was tearing it into pieces and dropped them in the recycle bin alongside other random junk mail I received at the same time.

Are you going to be happy when PP is PM?

Also when is the election supposed to be?

I don't know who any of these people are so I don't give a fuck about it, in case my post wasn't making it clear already.

You will once PP wins and he rolls over to Dump and lets canada become the 51st state. Not caring and not voting = giving your vote to the one you don't like.

Although i feel like the likelihood of such a thing is exaggerated, I'm still a little concerned about the idea of not voting too, I'm not expecting an explanation from Vins as i respect boundaries that have been established by them, but if PP ends up selling Canada out somehow, it's kinda the fault of those who sat and didn't vote to some extent too then yeah?
Anyways, i really hope PP doesn't get in for more personal reasons, not so much for the idea of being sold out but rather stuff like LGBTQ+ rights.

rofl, guys, I really want to hear what makes you think that PP would "sell Canada to USA" or "side with Trump" or "he's a mini-Trump". I mean, all I can see is that he doesn't speak with a condom on his mouth like some other politicians who always want to be "politically correct". He doesn't care about offending some groups of the population. And that is all I can see that is similar to Trump. But guess what? There are other politician out there who don't care about being politically correct. Trump is didn't invent that way of doing politics.

Now, look at the background of both Pierre Poilievre and Donald Trump, you will see that they do not have much in common (other than their political alliegence, which are both conservative).

Uhh, do you not realize that i was downplaying the idea? i don't think it's gonna happen, i'm just humoring a "what if?" i legit said "although i feel like the likelihood of such a thing is exaggerated"

but yeah sure, i totally think it's gonna happen and i'm totally voting liberal because of it, i totally said that and i totally needed an explanation.
sigh. Listen, i'm tired, i'm not gonna continue this bs, but in today's day and age, anything can happen, i could be wrong, you could be wrong, nobody will know until it's too late. i'm certain everyone here is aware of that. i'm more concerned about the rights of both myself and the people i hold dear.

Well excuuuuuuse me if I don't understand sarcasm or other form of irony speech when reading text.
Although I understand what you mean. Nowaday, it's never a matter of voting for the best, but rather of voting for the least worst.
