Hacking Can you play 3DS eshop games online using Gateway?

Hello,

I'm using my 4.5 3DS with Gateway 2.3 and the latest emuNAND. I downloaded a demo of Steel Diver and it has a multiplayer mode. Is it safe to play this online? I know that for cartridge games you have to replace headers but what about eshop?

If you download something from the eShop it should just work online without further modifications. (as long as you're on emuNAND, of course)

Anything you get from pirate sites will have the headers removed, unless it states otherwise.

But yes, simply rename the game to .3dz and inject a header and it will work.

I think this is about downloading a legit eShop game or demo from emuNAND, ie non-pirated.

Ah, there no known way to change an eshop header, so I made an assumption

The scene release eshop games need Thierry header changed, eshop download don't
