Hacking Can´t boot atmosphere for the first time

Situation:
Switch with 2.1.0.
SDXC card with 183GB formatted as exFAT
Hekate 4.6
Atmosphere 0.82

I can´t boot into Atmo. it gives me just a black screen after the atmosphere logo. I read online, that it may be because my sd-card ist formatted as exFAT. When I format it with "hp_usb_disk_storage_format_tool" to FAT32, only ~148GB are allocated. Hekate then gives me an error, saying "failed to mount SD card (FatFS Error 13).
I can´t format the card with my Switch, because it is XC, and it needs a software-update to do this...
Any suggestions on how to launch atmosphere?

2.1.0 did not support exfat you have to add exfat support or upgrade to the higher firmware with choidujourNX with out burn fuses.

Hard to use choidujourNX if I can´t boot atmosphere to use the hbl.

Format your sd card to fat 32. After that will will able to use atmosphere then use the choidujourNX to upgrade to the firmware you want. After that format you sd card back to exfat.

Did you read my post? Hekate will give me an error when I format the card to FAT32.

Except it did, all firmwares from 2.0.0 to 6.2.0+ have an exfat variant

Try using this to format the SD card instead maybe http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm, it works great for me. That HP tool seem to be specifically for HP usb flash drives

And use 32kb for the allocation size

As a matter of troubleshooting, make sure you're using Kosmos so we know how you set things up.

Is this the best giude if ur switch is on 2.3.0 and another on 3.0.1? I am a new to swicth hacking

It's a great CFW package to use since it already includes everything you need.

Got another quick question:

Got Auto RCM enabled, and set Hekate to autoboot Atmosphere. When I power off the system(not standby!) and start it again, should´nt it boot directly into atmosphere? Or do I always have to send the payload via Tegrasmash?

If you coldboot the system, it will only boot into RCM. You will have to send the playload each time you coldboot the system. This is why you will probably want to keep the Switch in sleep mode when you're not using it.
