You can use it, the only thing that works by default is the touchscreen, so you will need to somehow get a desktop environment working in your image.

Currently people are working on pre-built images of the OS with desktop environments installed, sit tight.

Yeah, but as you sort of hintes to only a few devs have access to a desktop environment now, if u try to yourself now u get stuck at the password promt

No, everyone has access to the desktop environment, the problem is getting it running, for example the graphics library (mesa) is unmodified.

If you see how crap Nvidia Shield TV runs PS2 games, it will kinda be a lot harder on Switch with the CPU clocks reduced in half...

Unless they mod the kernel to OC it, but without cooling mods Switches might easily die under OC.

Play! sucks , you could try damonps2 if there is any port for linux or PCSX2 if ever will come for aarch64

I would honestly go for Tak and the Power of Juju, but that's also for gamecube so I guess Dolphin could work in that case.
