Can PS4 Games be played from a HDD

Hey all.
I will have a ps4 soon on fw 9.0. That I will JB.

Can games be played from the internal hdd or would I need a external hdd to play games.

Never had a JB PS4 B4 so I hope I don't ask silly questions....

You can use either PS4 extended storage, require activated profile, or App2usb method.

Yes you can install them to the internal hard drive. It's the easiest method too, but obviously you're limited by the size of the drive unless you upgrade it.
