Once they're installed, there's no reason to keep the NSP files on your SD card.

You use the NSP files only for installation, the "real" data is stored either on your internal memory or on SD card.
So yes, you can remove the .nsp from the SD card afterwards.

Unless you mean can you delete the file from the actual switch menu after installing the answer is still yes with dev menu

Yes it is a install file like a android apk or 3ds cia file after it installs your good to go and free up space.

Download NX- shell and find your file hit X over your file choose delete. No need to ever turn off your switch.
