ROM Hack Can I write a nand.bin to my 2ds with a hardmod?

I bricked my 2ds so could I restore it with a backup I Made with gateway ultra launcher? I know win32diskimager uses IMG files but I don't know if it can use bin files. I know its a stupid question but I want to make sure before I hardmod.

Just curious. Why wouldn't this work? Is the nand that he dumped using gateway not a faithful copy?

I think it should work because you can switch to use all files In win32diskimger.

Yes, you can restore via hardmod, as long as you know how to solder.

In windisk32, use the drop down box to view all files or rename .bin to .img

It won't affect the backup any...
