Hi guys, this is my first post in the wii section, anyways, i have the twilight hack and the hbc beta9 installed because i am on 3.4U, and i wanted to know if i could use the wiigator .3 gamma on my system. I read elsewhere that i cant and i need to get a fix to play. I am totally confused, can someone lead me to the right direction as to how i get the backup loader working. Thanks.
Version 3.4 usually disables installs using the twilight hack so when you try to install a channel it will fail - if you have HBC just try getting the DOL file into your apps folder and see if that works (its in the zip in my sig)
If that works ok then your away , but you have to load homebrew each time you want to play.
If you want to use a channel you will need to downgrade your system to 3.2 for it to work properly - all instructions are in the zip also.

Dj Taz, I am using a 3.4E with homebrew channel and a gamma backup channel, got no problems at all so your story is nonsens.

I hadnt actually tried it myself but i was informed that updating to 3.4 disabled wad installs which made it impossible to use.
Glad to see i was proven wrong. I was told that the twilight hack was disabled after a reboot on 3.4 so you couldnt install anything after that.

i knew that they released a new twilight hack to workaround the new version and then the hbc beta 9 but i thought the new update disabled the functions for the backup loader, guess i was misinformed, thanks again.

I'd had no problems with any homebrew, every homebrew I tested worked without a problem.
Only I'm a little worried about banner bricks, maybe I'm gonna downgrade to 3.2 and install starfall. But then again I always download channels through this forum.

HI. So i have homebrew instaled and wiigator gamma 3 instaled also, you mean if i upgrade to 3.4 i can still use everything as in 3.2?

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
