Hardware Can I play WiiFit w/ board on a softmodded Wii?

So yeah, I have a 4.2U soft modded Wii and I want to play WiiFit. I heard of it can corrupt your Wii files but I just want to make sure.

What are the IOS needed to run WiiFit or if any new IOS it will create.

I've been searching for this question for quite a long time but I dont find any direct answers like YES or NO.

I'm pretty sure it makes no difference.

It hasn't corrupted my wii or anything yet anyway. Then again i've hardly used the board or the game since i've bought it.

Yeah.

If your system is up-to-date, then you shouldn't have a problem using the Wii balance board.

The only IOS I updated after softmodding my 4.2U is the IOS249 which is in base 38.

I want to buy the WiiFit but I heard rumors. I'll double check all the IOSs of my Wii and purchase the WiiFit Plus.
