Hacking Can I fit the Wiiey setup disc on a mini DVD?

I tried chopping off the zeroes and burning the iso, but my Wii then says an error has occurred after I hit start at the gamecube logo.

If I recall, certain discs like that actually have to have garbage data to fill the exact capacity of the disc. Maybe that'll help you.

I'm a dope. I was using the official one, so I just booted it with GCOS and it worked

Now I need to find an Animal Crossing GCN save editor, or an Action Replay disc!

just wondering why burn to a mini dvd-r? they are expencive and the wii takes the large ones ???
