Homebrew Can i download avi directly to wii sd card

at the moment i am without pc which means im missing out on some of my favourite shows however i do have access to the internet via the wii is there anyway to download avi files via the wii so i can watch my shows again.

Directly from the opera browser? No... but if you know of an FTP that has the episodes there are several FTP servers available.

Ehm, to get the episoded from an FTP server you'll a FTP client for the Wii. And I only that there are server, but I don't know of any clients.

@Fishaman P: Oh didn't know that it has FTP at all, haven't tried it in a long time. Did it have FTP since the beginning and I overlooked it or was it built in later? I rarely use file transfer stuff on my Wii because the WiFi and SD reader is so painfully slow most of the time.
For Wiitch you'd need one of the Wii texteditors, won't you?
