Apple Can I "boot tethered" on another PC?

I have a tethered jailbroken iPhone 4 and my friends drained the hell out of it by playing games. The problem is I can't "just boot tethered now" because a) the computer that this iPhone's synced with is not within nearby access (I'm on holiday right now and I don't have the laptop with me) and b)I'm using a friend's laptop. Is there anyway that I can use redsn0w's "Just boot tethered" option without losing any data in my iPhone?

Yes! Download your iPhone 4's current firmware from the link and use redsn0w to boot it, kill iTunes so it doesn't sync (Assuming you don't want you phone wiped) and just charge it
