So I'll start off by saying forgive me for my lack of knowledge however, I have been trying to edit pak files for Outer Worlds on switch and this is my first time doing so. I have no experience with this and I frankly do not know what I have been doing. I took two pak files, one from an old patch and one from a new patch. I have been trying to import the settings from the old patch config to the new patch config (Overall i think it would look better).

Now since I really dont know what I've been doing, is there a possibility that my switch blows up or bricks when i run my updated config or would it simply cause a crash if its not compatible?:wtf:

    Edit:
These are the files i changed:
    BaseSwitchScalability.ini
    BaseSwitchDeviceProfiles.ini

Worst thing that might happen is the game hardlocking the entire console.

Afaik, there's little to no R/W operations to the NAND when playing games.

Only saves and bcats are accessing nand with write flag by game.

In my experience hardlocks by wrong/corrupt files are pretty rare, the worst thing that has happened is save corruption in games that writte settings into the save. In UE4 games I just get black screen or freeze but I still can close software.
