Hi, I'm a reputable user of gbatemp and other foruns. I have done my contribute for the community. Those wads are from their original sources: - OHBC WAD is from FIX94 and; - the Homer channel WAD is from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/homer-channel-remastered-download-homebrew-redirect.535303/ I'm just looking for some answers. I would like to know if those wads are compatible with wii, vwii, or both. If anyone can check on their emuNANDs or Dolphin emulators, I would appreciate the help. You put some "unknown" wads here without any Source and ask for Testing ? To install it on a Wii without knowing it is for a vWii or Wii ? What do you have expected ? Since no one on the original source explains the compatibility (wii/vwii), I would like to know. — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! — There is a converter tool for making a wad for wii, compatible with vwii. But I'm not sure if these wads run on both, or need any conversion.

Hello. For the Wii - no Brick. Both Channels work and boots into the Homebrew Channel Screen. (as you can see,I have now 2 Homebrew Channels) For the vWii it will takes a little,I will make an NAND Backup before.Please be patient. Thank you.

I believe the OHBC wad will work perfect on both. The other one (the forwarder) in my opinion is the answer we are looking for. Thank you so much, really appreciated. After your test on vwii, please don't go deleting right away! I have one more request if you don't mind! @JoostinOnline made long ago a forwarder (vwii only) to fix the 16:9 issue with the original homebrew channel. In 2018 he made a v2 of this forwarder to be compatible with the new OHBC. Thank YOU for the "newer" Homebrew Channel" Channel. ...it seems the Aspect Ratio "Bug" is fixed with them.
Do you know that the actual Version from the RiiConnect24 Patcher https://github.com/RiiConnect24/RiiConnect24-Patcher/releases/tag/v1.4.0.3 also fixes this "Bug" on the vWii ?

For the RiiConnect24 Patcher: It says "We are now patching a File,which is responsible for the 4:3 Ratio Aspect Bug". It is for "bringing back" working Channels like Weather/News/Everybody Votes... For the Wii and vWii.

No no! Don't delete the original. Just the one you installed today, the Open homebrew channel. Just uninstall using the same wad.
