I followed the noob guide on these forums, and have installed HaxChi on my 5.5.2 wii, but cannot get the nand dumper to work.

when i run nand dumper it errors - "failed to open /otp.bin for writing" and kicks me back to home menu.

i have Haxchi installed so that when i click it, cfw runs, i dont use CBHC.
I have tried running it from just the HBL and from HBL whilst in CFW, the error is the same.

My question is can anyone who is on 5.5.2 and using HaxChi confirm that the nand dumpers works.
Thanks in advance.

I have tried 3 different sd cards (samsung evo 64gb, samsung 64gb microsd xc and 8gb transcend) but no luck each one gives me the same error:
failed to open /otp.bin for writing

what sd card did you use?

Be sure that the cards are formatted to Fat32 and not exFat. This is very important. Use a third party tool to format the card instead of the built-in Windows formatting tool. This is also very important.

I had a dipswitch on my sd card that was preventing the writing from happening. After i switched it to unlock, the backup went smooth.
