Gaming Buying a Wii

Hi all
i was wondering if you guys could help(hope this is right section), i have been reading about the new firmware on the Wii (3.4). If i bought a wii today or in next few days would this update already be installed as i want to do the Twlight Hack and front page says it will work with 3.4 but recommended not to update the Wii
