Ok say that i will downgrade, i supposidly need to download a downgrade file from Gateway site. I bought my 3DS at a dutch store, so it should be Europe. But is there a way to comfirm?

And last question, Ill probably do the Downgrade/EmuNAND tomorrow with a fresh head, but can i still regardless of what SysNAND or EmuNAND play my Physical DS (old) carts? (I asume to get saved on the cart itself, and thus cant get corrupted?)


What is Blue card support, fake internet connections btw?

Blue card plays DS ROMS, and lets you launch the original, offline Gateway exploit. It won't run on 9.2. Fake internet connections are to keep your system from connecting to the internet, so that it doesn't download an update in the background. It's not required, just a precaution. You can also delete internet settings or turn off the wifi switch, but when you're on 9.2 you need to enable wifi at least sometimes to run the exploit.

Physical carts may ask you to update if you play them. To work around this you launch the Gateway exploit while holding the L shoulder button then choose to launch CLASSIC MODE. But there are issues with save compatibility depending on which version of encryption the saves on the game use. Mainly if you try to play the cart on a non-Gateway system or without Classic Mode, it may treat your save as corrupt and erase it.

EDIT: Oh, DS carts? Those you should have no problem with, what I say above is for 3DS carts.

Kind of interested now with the internet part. How would you go about setting up a fake connection?

Do i need 2 SD cards to setup emuNAND?

with downgrading, it seems all i have to be carefull about is, the 3ds not letting use power, and using the corrent downgrade firmware? So if i do that both carefully, im safe?
