I prefer 100x times someone who is theorizing (with the limit of bullshit speculation that these threads usually get) with some good background in wii/ios hacking, even he is plain wrong or will soon be proved to be wrong, that someone like you coming here only for sarcasm, just because he has his entry on #wiidev and have already seen smarter people discussing these theories

if you want to be useful, post informations and explanations on where people are wrong, just like "Erant" just did

As much as I appreciate Bushing's hard work to get homebrew running, this move is one of betrayal. He's found a loophole and he wants to go blabbing to Nintendo about it? I have a modchip, so I don't care about WAREZ at all.. but I do care that this guy is ready to work with/for Nintendo for a crapload of money and sell out all the other hackers worldwide who are trying to completely crack the entire machine. If Nintendo listens to him and release a patch, say bye-bye to EVERYTHING that we've come to take for granted re homebrew and hacking. You'll still be able to buy a $50 modchip with clip to play pirated games anyway..

Wow. Top marks on not getting any of this.

Bushing has no interest in hacking the Wii to pirate games. End of.

He's offering Nintendo something of an olive branch. He knows that the information he has will only be discovered by someone less ethical eventually. If he works with Nintendo now to help them close off the softmod exploit then they MIGHT look a little more favourably on the homebrew community and leave us to get on with it.

Of course they might take the info and screw us over anyway. Either way, Bushing isn't selling out.
