I know plenty of people who would buy that rig for maybe, $500. Try craigslist.

For me the only thing thats worth anything is the Videocard. It would most likely become a 2nd media pc. The hard drives I could do with out for the most part. I already have 5TB of hard disk space (Soon to be more yeeeeehaw!!!) DVD burner is about 20 new. Vista would not be used at all. Ram is pretty cheap nowadays. So yea like I said thats just me.

well it's a good thing that I'm not selling it to you because your pricing sucks!

I'll see what tweaks I can throw in or extra hardware and try to ship it off soon. Yeah, I'm using craigslist.

Watch what $15 more and no firewire on the back panel gets you:

First, I'd ditch the Western Digital hard drive and change it out for a Seagate. You'd have to spend $10 more but its a nicer drive.

Second, what the hell are you doing with that video card when for $17 more you can get a huge upgrade.

Switch to this similar motherboard. No firewire on the back, or SPDIF... but it adds solid capacitors, so not a total loss, -$17 less, even less after rebate.

Replace your current memory choice with this stuff with tighter timings.

Just tiny changes, but a better machine.

harddrive: okay

Vidcard: alrighty then

mobo: didn't need those ports and it's cheaper, okay!

RAM: will that work with the mobo? look at the frequencies

Thanks alot for that slap in the face. Didn't know the 200's were that cheap!

I didn't feel like making a new topic and this seemed like the right place to ask this, so I was wondering if anyone could show me a good setup. I was looking for a pc with a 4870x2 with the ability to crossfire in the future, and at least 4gb's of memory. I though I had a good one chosen but I am just not sure of the mobo and the psu.

Thanks for your help!
