If you felt like it, you could give a step by step picture guide to building a PC. For the noobs out there.

    Grats on the PC.

May I point out that the forum is running a "how to" contest with tons of steam cash up for grabs.

Got everything up and running and windows installed fine!

in one of the pics you can see Skyrim setting on ultra

took me about 3 hours to build install windows and update stuff I have slow internet :-(

all in all it was VERY smooth and VERY easy way easier then it was last time I built a PC over 5 years ago

Not bad, you'll be glad you custom-built it, that's what I did and never looked back.

I was considering a build with that exact CPU, I am still considering it but I might also just dump the cash and go for an i7.

How is it? 6 cores at 3.5Ghz can't be that bad... lol

Only get an i7 if you plan on editing videos and using heavy CPU-intensive programs. A nice i5 is plenty for gamers, and will run cooler.

I would pocket the cash for a later upgrade.
