Hacking BSdiff patches for Harvest Moon and Lego Star Wars

After you made START -> RUN, a little window will show.
Click on "explore" button and find the bspatch.exe (where you have the patch file too). This will show the "C:\path_where_you_have_extract_the_patch\bspatch.exe".
Now you just have to write after (in the same litlle window): name_of_your_rom.nds "name_of_the_patched_rom.nds.dsq" name_of_the_patch.bdf

Ok,

Followed all the instructions and managed to Harvest Moon to work.

But cannot get the USA version of Lego Starwars 2 to work.... the .nds.dsq file that is generated by the patching is almost double the size of the original .nds rom. If I try to run it I get two white screens.

This is not what happened with Harvest Moon, that only created a .nds.dsq file that was a few kbytes bigger and the game runs fine.

Anyone getting this problem, or do you think there may be an error in the original .nds file that I am trying to patch?

Likewise, I have two rar files both with diff size .bdf . Applying the patch tho i encounter the same problem, just a white screen. Harvest moon works fine tho.

What sucks is that OfflineList doesn't recognize the games anymore after patching.

both work on my SC CF, but im having troubles saving in Harvest Moon (i will try more and post later, yes i have a .sav)

saving works fine on SC CF for HV .. I saved it fine .. choose 'save' then 'diary 1 or 2' to actually save

did that twice...it said save complete twice, i reboot the system and nothing

Using the bdiff patched posted on normal old passme2/supercard sd ds lite

** they should have the .dsq extension , .nds wont work. **

Now if only Ultimate Spiderman would work..

Can anyone get lego Star Wars to save? Mine said the save is corrupted and must restart the ds to play. which means I cant save at all.

HM saved with no problems.....man been playing that till 4am last nite.

Did you remember to copy an empty .sav file to the cart with the same name as your Lego Star Wars image?

rememeber the save file must have extension .nds.sav


for example...

lgc-hmds.nds.dsq and lgc-hmds.nds.sav

I used the same steps as i did for HM and HM worked with no problems. So there must be something else I did wrong.

Tried to patch, but it kept stating that the patch file could not be found. I checked and rechecked the name of the file, but still got the same message.
