It does.
Open a video, touch (!) on the play/pause icon once to "pause" it and again to "play" it and it will start. At least it does for me on 6.2 with Atmo.
Doing this with the JoyCons won't work, you need to do it with touch input.
^ This also worked for me while I was testing on both 6.1 and 6.2 atmosphere so I know Youtube can work

Getting same issue, not getting a response about it... :/
It doesn't share an ID with another game, I have responded to a few of these now so will make sure to include it in the main post, this is due to the 'supernag' which disables browser etc. until you update as Nintendo labeled that specific update as, for example, crucial due to something like an exploit fix. You can fix it with homebrew like gagorder but I can't provide support for homebrew like that as it's unrelated and I have no idea how it works. I, or someone interested, could make a version of the app which automatically disables the supernag but I can't currently as I'm busy with other stuff.

Next release likely this week, will include nro version (without html5 video etc. obviously), supernag prevention in the form of bundling a sysmodule with the release which removes it entirely (probably just on atmosphere, needs fs_mitm, maybe cfw-neutral version in future) and an error screen explaining more if supernag is somehow still active to avoid any more confusion and stop the chance of accidentally updating via the official error message.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

no ii have not. i updated my 5.1.0 switch to 6.0.0 with no luck. still supernagged. not sure which fw is intended for gag order v1.3.

GagOrder v1.3 is meant for version 5.0 or 4.1... You will get supernagged for all of the firmware's except for the latest one which is currently v7.0

Release I just made has a sysmodule in it which should disable supernag on pretty much any version, try that.

well at least I know the custom error works... thanks for reporting it's kind of hard to debug that since I don't have the nag myself.

thx for the credits btw
just for your information, i also implemented and merged web_wifi applet launching support to libnx a while ago, you could just use libnx master instead of embedding the files in your source

chose not to as I'd rather keep it on stable libnx for QoL of people self-building and to avoid unfinished libnx stuff getting into the binary, but thanks for the info anyways, and no need to thank me for credits, it's your code which has let the project have these features anyway! :)

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
