Hacking Broken Wii-Shop Channel

Hi guys,

Brief history of my wii:

Bought it second hand from ebay, previous user had updated system to 3.4E, I learnt about the Twilight Hack and HBC from here and applied both.

I then found the cIOS downgrader and changed back down to 3.2E, applied Starfall and tried the 3.3 update with custom IOS and latest Wii Shop.

Whereas before I used to get a message in the Wii Shop about accepting service agreement, now that I've accepted it the Wii Shop just takes me back to the main channel screen.

I'm not sure what to try next, any ideas?

The latest Wii Shop Channel requires IOS 61. Do a search for the latest custom Shop Channel updater and it should give you the option to install IOS61 and the updated version of the channel (you need the latest version to browse the store)

Thank you, there's a sea of info on here, all good but sometimes hard to find what you're looking for!

I've upgraded to 4.0E and downgraded to 3.2E again, shop seems to be back!

Will check out the latest custom shop channel updater though just in case...

That method should be fine. I only suggested that way as I wasn't sure you wanted to go through the hassle of updating to 4.0 then downgrading again just for the shop channel.
