Well , My R4's MicroSD slot just broke, If I push the card into the slot it doesnt "catch" and springs right back out.

Has anyboydy had this problem and been able to fix it?

Or is it time to buy myself a new R4? :\

Cheers

Happened to me, got rid of the spring. Problem solved.

So I'm a noob at all of this, I have a the same problem with the spring not working. Can you give me more detial on how to make it work again? I hope not to have to buy another R4. You make it sound easy, I sure hope it is.

That is what I had to do right from the get go, while doing that there ws the sound of the spring thing, but now, nothing. any suggestions?

I have never just removed the spring I've always locked it in by hand
and glued it down. Does just removeing the spring make the sd card loose or anything ?

it doesnt make the SD loose but the SD and R4 metal strips (forgot what they're called) don't always touch 100% but its an easy fix

i put a small piece of paper in between to make it tighter

It's not loose, it's just that it goes in too deep. Push it in just enough so that it's flush.
well if you move that little wire arm around with the sd card in it will lock if you line it up right. pull the sd card out without useing the spring glue it and it works just like a springless card no wiggle and wont go in to deep I've done a few like that with no complaints
