Hardware broken new 3ds, help needed

so I have a new 3ds xl which doesn't turn on, the lights are blue but the screens are blank
i have a picture of the problem but I can't upload it for some reason.

I have installed custom firmware on my 3ds before the problem appeared.

it happened while trying to change console regions (from EU to US) and the process didn't finish

I have no data from said 3ds (no sd card and no files of any sort)

I have a fully functioning New 3ds XL running CFW (second console)

I have 2 sd cards (one is with the working one 16GB and the other is just laying around 4GB)

can't enter recovery mode

I believe it was running on 11.13

I just want to revive my broken one to have a spare 3ds if needed, and I don't have any soldering skills or equipment. I know there is a method using NDS flashcarts but I just wanted to check for alternative solutions.

Search on youtube. Might be an easy fix. Hope youre not scared of opening up your system

NEVER use youtube unless you need hardmod examples. @TurdPooCharger might be able to help (he is guru of 3ds)
youtube can have very outdated information and cause you to brick your system or put it into an irreparable state

Very true about out dated information (especially regarding jailbreak systems) .... repairs on the other hand.... I guess I should have said search on youtube "wisely"... i took it for granted one should search for the most recent videos...

Restore your NAND backup. If you made the unwise decision of not making a NAND backup, perform a CTRTransfer.

My mistake i thought your issue was hardware related but re reading your post it seems its software related. Indeed your best bet at this point would be to restore a backup as suggested by Lacius

Follow this guide. If you have a bittorrent client, the link works just fine.

Late reply. @hagai, did you fix your n3DSXL's issue?

If it's still softbricked after using standard CTRTransfer, you might have better luck with the alternative CTRTransfer (Type D9).

If you can afford to wait just a little longer, I have a planned v1.5 update release of that gm9 script that's coming Soon™.
