Hacking Broken MicroSD reader?

Try another machine, use a phone or just buy a new one. Its too hard to fix.

You can buy a MicroSD + SD card combo. (You put the MicroSD card into the SD card).
Or just use a mobile phone, I use my old nokia sometimes when I lose my normal card reader.

SD cards can be read by almost everything nowadays. Even my printer has a slot for it.

Pickup a USB media card reader, they're very affordable and come loaded with all sorts of slots to read every kind of media card imaginable including microSDs.

I suppose this is a continuation of the READ!!URGENT! thread.

When my microSD reader died, I replaced it with a $15 Transcend multi-card reader from newegg.com, and have been very happy ever since.

This really isn't that huge a question.
If it'll read/write to SDHC, and you can afford it, get it.

Just search micro sd reader on ebay you get loads at low prices.

When mine died, I got a new one from the markets near my place, cost me $2.50 AUD.

Its a bit high priced, but its close to where you live and doesn't require an online purchase.
