@dsrules that's why i have all those cheats inside the Breeze folder.
why? if you put it in atmosphere then it only loads 1 folder (the game you are playing), it will never go over the limit, or load the file using breeze tid, not the individual button

@dsrules i always save cheats in both Breeze and Atmosphere,we have a different way of doing things, many authors only use that path and don't even know that they can be placed there too.

then you could definitely load old cheat from atmosphere instead of individual (leave tnat as a bug report)

Updated.

📁 Updates to Cheat Selection Behavior for Large Cheat Files

The “Choose individual cheats from Breeze’s Game directory” button exists solely to allow selecting cheats when a large cheat file exceeds the 127/128-cheat limit.

Bounce Check Added

A bounce check has been added to the “Choose individual cheats from Breeze’s Game directory” button to prevent buffer overflow. No more than 128 entries will be displayed on the left panel, cheat file creator can create folder to hold many cheats as long as folder plus expended folder does not exceed 128 entries or cheats will be inaccessible.

The directory used by this button has also been updated to the Game-specific cheat directory.
Previously, it pointed to the root of Breeze’s cheat directory, which in extreme cases could contain so many files that it overflowed the file selection panel.
(If someone manages to create an unreasonable number of files in a game-specific directory, the panel may still overflow—this is considered an irrational use case, and if you choose to push it that far, I’ll allow it to crash your Switch.)

@NeoGranzon your use case should have no problem even before the update. I think you should never have used that button as it wasn't what you want, I believe you only wanted to load file with a different BID. What you needed was the file being in either Breeze's Game directory or Atmosphere's TID directory. If you used Breeze to create the outdated cheat file it would already be at the correct directory of your choosing. I could but I won't let you browse 670 files to pick one. It would not be the good way to find a file.

Having those 670 files in Breeze/Cheats means if the title id is found it would be loaded if there isn't a cheat file in either atmosphere nor breeze's game directory, it would be before searching for file on the internet or the title.zip file.

There are only two places to load files that don't match the title id, use the two correct button and the one I don't think you should touch but it is fine if you want to.

@TomSwitch those are the backups of the cheats that i have in the smartphone it was just an example, this is the Breeze configuration that i use to save the cheats that i create
2025121716162800-DB1426D1DFD034027CECDE9C2DD914B8.jpg2025121716163300-DB1426D1DFD034027CECDE9C2DD914B8.jpg2025121716185200-DB1426D1DFD034027CECDE9C2DD914B8.jpg
and as you can see there is the folder that contains the cheat.

Do you have a question or have problem with something?
No @TomSwitch ,since i missed your reply notification,i wanted to show you how the cheats i create are saved, which are stored in the folders you described.
Those 670 files i attached in the previous post are the backups of the cheats i''ve created and which i keep on my smartphone, which i then transfer via FTP witch Switch and post here.

Wrote a new example demonstrating how to use x30 matching, this one takes advantage of the latest features added in beta99s.

It’s important that the count= value is not too low; otherwise, the cheat may not activate frequently enough.

@TomSwitch I have a question: is it possible with Breeze to update the pointers and ASMs without having to recreate them from 0 as i sometimes have to do.

Only for easy one, exactly like edizon se and it's only assisted not fully automated. The idea is only the first offset changed. Some of the time that is the case.

@TomSwitch and for ASMs it's not possible?
There is AOB creation (you need the old version) and search tool (you need to have created AOB when you still have the old version).

It's not that user friendly and I don't normally update cheats so you can expect I only have minimal effort in development and testing on the feature.

Since you don't have PC I suppose you may be stuck with what I suspect to be the only tool on Switch.

In stead of learning the tool I recommend that you just make them again like you did the old version.

I've already tried this procedure and it didn't work.

@dsrules and how do i look inside?
You always forget that i'm on a smartphone and not a PC and i have to download the file to see the cheats inside.
