Hacking brawl+ question

if i used + and played someone using the normal version, what would happen? would it work? would brawl + effects be happening on the person with the normal version?

I assume you are talking about playing online?

1. Brawl has no servers, so you actually can't be banned. Nintendo only banned some cheaters on mario kart wii(< has servers).
2. Cheats only take effect on your own version of brawl. The cheats will have no effect on the other players,
and probably your game will hang when entering a match, or the cheats take no effect.

Yeah, it would probably either freeze yours and the opponent(s) would see you as having no input, or you would own them on your wii and the opponent would think you are on crack. Wi-fi just sends your input, not what's happening. Therefore, you would think you both have the + effects, and he would think neither do, and wtf are you doing.
