Hacking Brawl + Plus Pal

I have recently installed Brawl Plus on my SD Card for the PAL region, however whenver I attempt to load the cheat Ocarina codes for SSBB, it says that my codes are too long and the lines are at about 1500 or something when the limit it 424 (I might be wrong)... And so this apprehends my ability to play Brawl+. Does anybody know what's going on and/or how I can fix it?

EDIT: I'm also running on 4.2E, if that makes a difference...

usb loaders can not run brawl plus b/c of the gecko code limit.. you need to use the brawlplusupdatifier program if you wish to load brawl plus via USB..

Well, this is a real pain. Hopefully giantpune is making some progress with the compatibility of the updatifier.

    It's not as difficult compared to replacing the disc drive from a 360 which requires flashing the new DVD drive board with the keys from your old drive. Not a very easy process to do.
