Gaming bravely second update data

hey, on bravely default update data was really useful for getting items from village.

is it still needed in bravely second? *i cba to inject into the bravely second ROM*

There's a similar system with building up a town in Bravely Second, yes. You'll use Update Data to get more villagers and those special bosses that assault the town (forgot what they're called).
There exists a save editor for the game btw, which you can use to give yourself any number of villagers you like, or modify building levels.
