I just bought a new 128GB SD card for my Old 2DS. The brand is Sandisk, and it's a MicroSD with an adapter. As far as I know it was manufactured very recently, and wasn't removed from the packaging until yesterday, but both my 2DS and GodMode9 keep telling me it's write-protected and cannot be altered. I attempted to format it to FAT32 with GM9 but it told me it wasn't able to because of this.
I've checked the switch on the adapter and it's definitely unlocked (I tried it in both positions just to be sure - same result), I tried to run Diskpart on Command Prompt and manually undo the readonly option, which didn't do anything, and scanning for errors showed that it's completely undamaged. I even manually reformatted it and got the same result. I don't think it's a problem with the console itself because my other SD card works fine. What should I do now?
