Yo guys, remember when you were dumping your game using braindump and you had to wait for 5 minutes until it finished the first step, i.e. dumping the ExeFS?

Apparently, I brainfarted, and now that I fixed it, the ExeFS of my CN cartridge gets dumped within 5 seconds, lol. Don't have any time to finish and push the fix right now, but I'll hope to be able to do so next week ;)

Waiting for Braindump to extract RomFS be like...

Nah, just kidding man, it's actually going fast for me. ~400 MB out of 600 MB in less than 10 minutes is good.

I can't seem to open ctrtool. What it does is that I open the program, it opens for not even a second and closes on me. What should I do?
You have to hit shift+right click and hit "open command window here" I had the same issue until someone helped me out with it.

If you don't see the option "Open command window here" your OS may not have it. Just use the cd command (look it up) in command line.

If you are trying to extract RomFS file to folder use this:
Code:
ctrtool --intype=romfs --romfsdir=romfs romfs.bin

If you are trying to extract RomFS from decrypted CXI use this:
Code:
ctrtool -p --romfs=romfs.bin software.cxi

Still getting the error.

I really don't know what is wrong, sorry. What are you trying to achieve? I assume you dumped the CXI via braindump?

Maybe if you send me what you are trying to decrypt to me via PM, I could try it out. Then we could work out if it is a problem with the CXI or not. I do own Mario Kart 7, if that makes any difference.
